The apartment is in the City Centre, at the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town, located in a corner site on the Royal Mile and North Bridge. The Royal Mile runs between Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace and is the centre of Historic Edinburgh. North Bridge is a main link between Edinburgh's Old Town and New Town, crossing from the Royal Mile to Princes Street, the gateway to the Georgian New Town area.
Edinburgh's rail and bus stations are both within 500 yards of the apartment, city buses stop outside and there is a taxi rank literally 10 yards from the building's entrance. Short-term on-street parking is within 50 yards and a long term multi-story car park is within 100 yards, although, as with all cities, such parking is expensive and visitors are advised to consider whether a car is necessary for their stay in Edinburgh.
